After the spring thaw (still a couple months away in the Catskills) Sara and I will go through the sizing and installation of a Pelton turbine at our small farmhouse in the Catskills. We will be using our own mountain spring, which flows at about 15 gallons per minute on average, and flows all year round. This spring water will be used to power a simple battery bank for barn lighting and an electric fence. Please check back in the warmer months to see how this project is progressing.
